2. Description of Service
Mergejobs provides a job matching platform that uses AI to analyze job postings and compare them against user profiles. We provide tools to help you discover, analyze, and apply for job opportunities.
3. Geographic Scope
Mergejob is a job marketplace focused exclusively on the United States labor market. We index and display only positions that are open to candidates based in the US — including fully remote roles open to US workers, hybrid positions located in the US, and on-site roles at US locations. Job listings that are restricted to other countries are automatically excluded from our platform. By using Mergejob, you acknowledge that job opportunities shown are intended for candidates who are eligible to work in the United States.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
5. Credits and Payments
Some features require credits, which can be purchased through our platform. Credits are non-refundable unless required by law. Purchased credits do not expire.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit, including your resume/CV and profile information. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process it to provide our services.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Interfere with the proper functioning of our platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data without permission
8. Job Applications
When you apply for jobs through our platform, you are applying directly to employers. We are not responsible for employer responses, hiring decisions, or any aspect of the employer's hiring process.
9. Job Listings Retention
Job listings may be marked inactive when they are no longer refreshed from their source. Listings that remain inactive for more than two months are permanently deleted from our database, including listings you saved or unlocked.
10. Third-Party Links
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE QUALITY, ACCURACY, OR COMPLETENESS OF JOB LISTINGS.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mergejobs and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mergejobs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
